Imagine being heavily pregnant, so close to whelping you aren’t moving your best and you get hit by a car. This is the story of Kele, she is in the last days of pregnancy but an unfortunate thing happened. 
She’ve got a broken leg and her eye is a total mess. Maybe a few days pass before she are found and brought to safety.
Kele found her way to Adams County Pet Rescue and the vets reached out to their friends at Sunny Skies Rescue and asked if they could help Kele.
They knew that they couldn’t have her whelp her pups here at the shelter and so fortunately for Kele, they said yes.
They made the transfer just in time because hours later at least 6 pups made their way into the world last night.
Now that she’s had the pups, Kele will get the help she needs thanks to Sunny Skies!
“We can’t thank them enough for helping this sweet girl.”, the vet said.
