Meet Buddy, a brave rescue dog who was found wandering the streets with a severe infestation of maggots in his nose. Buddy was in a lot of pain and his condition was life-threatening, but thankfully he was rescued by Animal Aid Unlimited.
Without urgent treatment he would have died in an unthinkably painful way.
Buddy received the best care from the Animal Aid Unlimited team, who worked tirelessly to remove the maggots and treat his wounds. The daily wound care was painful and difficult, but Buddy was a trooper and he never lost his spirit.
Through the dedication of the Animal Aid Unlimited team and the resilience of Buddy, he made a full recovery. Buddy is now a happy, healthy dog who has been given a second chance at life.
Today he is jolly, alert and oh so handsome, but when we introduced him to you just after his rescue, maggots had burrowed into this poor boy’s nose and if untreated for even another day it would have been too late for him.
Daily wound care saved him, and oh what a life to save. Thank you for giving him the pure pleasure of sparkling good health.
