A little Pit bull Drools The 4-year-old was brought to the remotely located Conour animal shelter in Montе Vista, Colorado, nearly 2 years ago.
Seeing the dog’s happy and extremely affectionate behavior, the staff were convinced that the handsome boy would definitely be adopted soon. However, 720 days have passed, our poor Drools still have not found a new home
“Rеlay For Rеscuе” Kacеy Widеtich has been really interested in Drools for the past several months and she thinks the lack of contact is just one of the reasons why he is actually being watched all this time. Another factor leading to Drools’ “discomfort” may be the fact that he is worried about other dogs and cats and wants to be the only pet in the house.
The constant rejections really took a huge toll on the Drools’ mental health. Because of the past few months, the other lucky dog was feeling exceptionally lonely, desperate, and depressed. . Kacеy was quick to notice the dog’s fading stimulus. She is currently spending her evenings at Drools’ kеnnеl making him feel loved and protected.
In desperation, the shelter is working hard to find his perfect family. At first, Drools is wary of complete strangers, but is extremely loyal and caring as he gets attached to them. He is good with children and enjoys the job in moderation, nothing too tiring.
