Poor Jackson was rescued by a lovely rescuer a few months ago in a terrible state.
He is very thin and malnutrition. May be, owners old starved him. The kind people have taken him to the vet.
He is now better and in all his fur has grown back and he has put weight on. He looks like a different dog completely. Look at his photos for his transformation.
He does have the beginning of arthritis but with medication this can be helped.
Jackson loves to meet new people and always wants to greet them with a kiss. He has met children and is extremely playful. He does not know his size and sometimes wants to jump up.
Jackson is ok with other dogs, however he does not like a dog who has no manners and jumps about and gets in his face. He will snap and tell them enough. He is not aggressive to them he is just communicating he does not like that behaviour. Calm dogs he has no issue with at all.
Jackson has accepted a collar and a lead and walks.
He has met cats, he either ignores them or tries to play with them. He can live with cats as long as the cat has a safe space to go when they do not want to play.
